Diagnostic Interview
On your initial visit and sometimes during follow-up appointments our physicians and providers will identify an appropriate diagnosis. This diagnosis helps guide the way in treatment selection.
Medication Treatment and Management
Medication management is one of the key ways to reduce symptoms and avoidable return of symptoms. At Conroe Psychiatry we initiate treatment as well as evaluate treatment from previous medication regimens. Interventions may include medication reconciliation, patient/family education on medications, medication therapy management, as well as long acting injectables.
Diagnostic Laboratory and Testing
We consider all levels of health including physical health. We ensure your safety and in doing so at times will order lab work and possibly other tests.
Appropriate Referral
At times you may need additional care from other types of providers. At Conroe Psychiatry we help identify the type of referral needed and the appropriate provider.
Brief Psychotherapy
As we identify develop a patient-provider relationship, we will use a variety of approaches to short-term, solution-oriented psychotherapy.
Conditions we commonly see
Depression, anxiety, insomnia, irritability, and difficulty focusing are common complaints. Such symptoms could be related to many separate conditions. At Conroe Psychiatry we will identify the condition and select appropriate treatment.

Our goal is to find a treatment plan that improves your wellness and adds quality to your life. To obtain this goal together we establish your target symptoms and goals. That goal may be as simple as feeling ok leaving your home, public speak, or other things such as just not feeling depressed anymore.
